Live Stream Midrolls

Live Stream Midrolls

Live stream midrolls let you earn money by running ad breaks during your live stream. You decide when each ad break runs from the Ad Manager in Rumble Studio.

How to run an ad break

  1. Go live from Rumble Studio.

  2. Find the AD control at the top of your Studio screen.

  3. Click Run ad now.

Each midroll lasts 30 seconds.

More length options are coming in a future release.

How midroll ads work

Your stream needs a few minutes to be approved

  • After you go live, your stream takes a few minutes to be approved for monetization

  • Because of the approval time, your first ad break will not be available right when you start

  • Plan to run your first ad break a few minutes into your stream

There's a 10-minute cooldown between ad breaks

  • After an ad break ends, you'll need to wait 10 minutes before you can run another one

  • Rumble Studio shows when your next break is available

Not every viewer will see the ad

Midrolls only play for viewers watching your stream live on Rumble. These viewers will not see the ad break:

  • Rumble Premium subscribers, who watch ad-free Viewers on other destinations, such as YouTube, Twitch or Kick Viewers watching on-demand, after the stream has ended

  • Because of this, the number of people who see a break may be lower than your total live viewer count

When ad breaks aren't available to run

You won't be able to run a midroll if:

  • Your stream isn't monetized

  • Your stream is for Rumble Premium subscribers only

  • A host read is in progress

Tips

  • Run breaks at natural pauses, such as between segments or topics

  • Let your audience know a short break is coming so they stay tuned
